Multi-Slice CT Now Offered at Limestone Medical Center

 
 

In October, 2010, Papastavros’ Associates installed a multi-slice CT unit to complement our walk-in X-ray services at the Limestone Medical Center, offering you and your doctor a convenient way to obtain a CT exam for suspected tumors, abscesses, cysts, infection, enlarged lymph nodes and other lesions throughout the body. Multi-slice CT provides high quality images that help your doctor accurately diagnose your problem. Center hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

 

“We have many long-term employees who are excited about this new service and very willing to accommodate referring physicians and their patients,” notes Michelle Nowaczyk, BSRT (R)(M)(CT), imaging center manager. “We can take most patients on a same-day, walk-in basis, and we’re flexible about our hours of operation. Plus, our centralized insurance verification process makes it easy for referring doctors to obtain pre-authorization, as we do most of the work for them.”
